The Project Acceleration of Universal Salt Iodization & Promotion of child Survival is implementing in Wada & Jawhar block.The project is approved by UNICEF, Mumbai and implementing in association with Voluntary Health Association of Maharashtra. The Project goal is “To aware people about eating of iodine salt” The message of project reached in 125000 population so for.

The Project Acceleration of Universal Salt Iodization & Promotion of Child Survival is implementing for last 2 years. In starting the project was included two blocks such as Wada & Jawhar block. After-year the VHAM planning to concentrate on one block of each district. So the NARAD selected Jawhar block and concentrated with new activity of Promotion of Child Survival.  

The project is approved by UNICEF, Mumbai to Voluntary Health Association of Maharashtra for Maharashtra State .The VHAM selected to National Rural Research and Development Association as implementing Organisation for Thane District.
Goal: - To aware the people about importance of iodine in our meal and about care of new born child.
